Brisbane's Best Film Festival is Back!
The Brisbane International Film Festival is on us once again, showcasing unique, unusual, and unbelievable cinema from Australia and around the world. With movies from stars such as Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, and Melissa McCarthy, as well as cult classics and new releases, there's something for everyone here.
When Is It?
Running from 11-21st
October, showings start most days at 10:30am and run through the day. With a selection of kids and young adult movies on offer, as well as some classic cinema, the whole family will be able to find something to watch.
Where Is It?
The Gallery of Modern Art will be hosting the event from its exclusive Australian Cinémathèque, the only cinema of its kind in the country. With the Powerhouse, the State Library of Queensland, and several other venues also hosting showings at the time, this event will cover all of Brisbane.
What Is It?
The Brisbane International Film Festival is dedicated to highlighting films from around the world, bringing them to new audiences and a new appreciation. With our multicultural city, it's a great way to appreciate new cultures and new perspectives, especially cultures we haven't experienced yet.
