The 2018 Brisbane Festival is well underway, bringing three weeks of fun and fantasy to the city as everyone comes together to celebrate Brisbane. There's a whole slew of free events and special performances, culminating in the Riverfire fireworks on 29th September!
What Is It?
The Brisbane Festival is an annual event dedicated to showcasing some of the best artistic and musical talent our city has to offer. With a wide variety of cool and quirky acts dotted throughout South Bank and the CBD, there's both free and paid events for the whole family.
Some of the highlights on offer include the River of Light, a nightly light show on the Brisbane River at South Bank, and the House of Mirrors, a stunning maze with over 15 tonnes of mirrors twisting across a labyrinth of different pathways. When Is It?
Running from 8-29th
September, events are happening all the time, with several shows having multiple performances throughout the day. Riverfire closes out the festival from 6:30pm on Saturday, 29th
September, and it's always a big event for everyone involved.
